4. What was your first job and how much was your pay cheque?

A trainee accountant earning about R3k per month and I had to service a loan to buy a compulsory laptop.

5. Describe in one sentence, your current job to a five year old.

I am keeping other naughty adults out of trouble by showing them on a piece of paper how they have behaved.

6. What is the best advice a mentor gave you?

My mother once told me that I never have to take a step backwards to anybody. She is one of the best mentors I have ever had.

7. In your career, what has been your greatest achievement so far?

I have not changed my personality or my approach to people.

8. What do you do in your spare time to blow off steam or relax?

I would attend a spinning class, jog, watch sport or if everything else fails, kick the dog!

9. Where is the most interesting place you have ever visited? Why?

Not that I want to live there, but Dubai. The mixture of cultures, religions, business and artificially created atmosphere is fascinating.

10. Where do you dream about visiting?

I haven't travelled extensively, but anywhere in the Caribbean would be high on the list.

11. Do you have a 'bucket list'? What sort of things are on your list?

Mainly sport events: US Masters at Augusta, Monaco Grand Prix, Champions League Final (if Chelsea is playing), Roland Garros, The Open – the list is too long!

12. What is the favourite gadget of the moment?

My 8 year old daughter's iPod.

13. If you could choose the president of the entire universe, who would you choose and why?

Nataniël – the world will be a funny and exciting place, but I wouldn't give him the job for more than 1 day!

14. If you could have a fantasy dinner, who would you invite?

Jose Mourinho (Real Madrid coach), Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum (ruler of Dubai), Bono and Barack Obama. I have numerous questions for each.
