Grande Provence Boasts Double Gold Status At The 2010 Michelangelo Wine Awards
September 2010 - Adding to its award winning repertoire, the 5 star Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate in Franschhoek has been awarded a ‘Double Gold' for the Grande Provence Chardonnay 2009, only 28 Double Gold's were awarded in the entire country, Silver for the Grande Provence Sauvignon Blanc 2010 and Silver for the Grande Provence Shiraz 2007 at the 2010 Michelangelo Wine Awards, adding to the numerous prestigious wine awards the Estate has garnered over the past few years.

The Michelangelo Wine Awards recognises excellence in wine making and gives South African winemakers the ideal opportunity to showcase the best of their current vintages. This year 1, 310 wines entered.
