This year the awards highlight green awareness in response to increased environmental consciousness in all aspects of the hospitality industry. The awards aim to encourage Platinum restaurants to align themselves with the eco-responsible ideals, while still satisfying discerning food lovers.

Hunter's Country House and Tsala Treetop Lodge are situated in the heart of the world famous Garden Route of the Western Cape, just 10 kilometres west of the resort town of Plettenberg Bay and 20 kilometres east of Knysna. These two properties are the ideal base from which to explore this truly beautiful and unique region. Hunter's Country House and Tsala Treetop Lodge are members of the Relais & Châteaux Association and the Chaîne des Rotisseurs.
