Two Students Take Top Honours In The Pure Imagination Campaign
The Pure Imagination campaign - hosted by Springleap.com, in conjunction with the AAA School of Advertising - has been won by two grade 12 students, from Westford High School in Durban.

Amber Myers and Liam Kelly led their teams in designing a t-shirt for springleap.com and developing and implementing a digital marketing strategy for their respective teams.

The winners each won a 3-year AAA School of Advertising bursary worth more than R120 000, a Virgin Spa hamper, and a clothing voucher from Trigger clothing.

Ludi Koekemoer, head of the AAA School of Advertising, says that all the entrants were of an extremely high quality and this augurs well for the state of creativity at high schools. While the design aspect was important, students were challenged to take the design to the next level and the marketing strategy highlighted the fact that marketing is an essential ingredient in any successful business strategy.
