Newsclip's Publications Portfolio Newsclip is a multi-faceted monitoring company, which also publishes three industry-relevant newsletters. Each webizine is distributed via email to over 10 000 subscribers each week, on a controlled distribution list. These Newsclip initiatives provide editorial content that is both topical and informative, providing professionals with the necessary information to enhance their understanding of the latest goings on and behind-the-scenes activities in the industry. This in turn improves their skills and service delivery. Media Update Media Update is a media-centric weekly newsletter that provides a space for publishers, producers, journalists and media mavens to find information relevant to the local media environment. It is supported by a website, www.mediaupdate.co.za, which is updated on a daily basis with the latest news from the dynamic and ever-changing world of media. In 2008, the Media Update website was revamped to include an in-house blog, white papers defining the latest ‘must-know' new concepts in the field, a glossary of industry-specific terms, tagging of specific words in our archive of over 12 000 stories, a monthly digital e-zine, a gallery of photographs from exciting industry-related functions, and a calendar of media, communication and advertising events. There's a new entertainment section on the website, where we feature the latest film, stage and CSI news. The new website also features our weekly Media Update vodcast, which provides a summary of the latest announcements featured in the newsletter. Publicity Update Publicity Update is a multiple information source that caters to the South African public relations and communications industries. It supplies information on campaigns, new appointments, publicity profiles and case studies. The website, www.publicityupdate.co.za, also provides information about trends, tenders, new accounts and awards, and is linked to the Media Update blog, gallery, glossary and calendar. The website features the Publicity Update vodcast, presented each week to keep you in the know. totallyMAd totallyMAd is a publication that focuses on the marketing and advertising industries, with elements of design and creative. Every week, the newsletter summarises the latest news from these sectors of the media world, including account gains, case studies, and the latest campaigns, with the full stories available online at www.totallymad.co.za.
