13 May 2008: National agency, Eclipse Public Relations, today announced that it had merged with Cape-based media strategy consultancy, MËMO Communications. The two agencies will now service their combined consumer and corporate portfolios under the Eclipse Public Relations banner. Commenting on the merger, Eclipse Public Relations Business Unit Manager, Gavin Etheridge said, "We have a shared vision and approach to communications which made the two companies a perfect strategic fit. " The merger sees a diverse mix of consumer and corporate clients joining Eclipse Public Relations, which includes, among others, Quest Flexible Staffing Solutions, Schonenberg Retirement Village and Carrol Boyes' METAL 2008: New Designer Search.
