5. Describe in one sentence, your current job to a five-year-old.
I strive to make pieces of communication more beautiful and easy to understand. 6. What is the best advice a mentor gave you? Act like a sponge and absorb everything that is happening around you. It is the least expected things that feed into your work. 7. In your career, what has been your greatest achievement so far? Ex-employees who tell me how much of an impact their time working for me has made on their career and on their lives. 8. What do you do in your spare time to blow off steam or relax? I do ceramics. It's very therapeutic; and I spend quality time with my beautiful teenage daughter. 9. Where is the most interesting place you have ever visited? Why? I have a strange fascination with ruins and deserted places and buildings. I recently spent some time in one of the many tunnels which run underneath the city of Cape Town. 10. Where do you dream about visiting? I have done some exploring in Africa, but I definitely want to do more. I'm passionate about the continent and it's people. 11. Do you have a 'bucket list'? What sort of things are on your list? To show my ceramics in my own exhibition; seeing the gorillas from Burundi or the Congo; tracking tigers in the wild in India. 12. What is the favourite gadget of the moment? My Nespresso coffee machine. 13. If you could choose the president of the entire universe, who would you choose and why? The Dalai Lama. Someone who can bring about world peace. 14. If you could have a fantasy dinner, who would you invite? Mr Tom Ford, definitely.
