|
South Africa's largest real estate network, RE/MAX of Southern Africa, has appointed Marcus Brewster Publicity (MBP) as its agency of record. MBP will manage a broad public relations function for the realtor with specific emphasis on developing brand positioning through PR initiatives. RE/MAX is present in more than 65 countries around the world. In South Africa, over 2 200 Sales Associates serve the vast regional network. They were responsible for relocating more than 70 000 South Africans in 2006. RE/MAX Marketing and Finance Director Jeanne van Jaarsveldt said: "We were looking not only for the top PR agency in terms of reputation, but also one which will be able to deliver on our wish to be known as the largest real estate network in the country. "The appointment of Marcus Brewster Publicity was based on the sound reputation of the agency within top tier Southern African media circles, as well as its ability to get the job done. Led by Brewster's deliverables-driven strategy, RE/MAX has bolstered its investment in PR and Brand Positioning by over 300%. "We are sure that the team at MBP will be able to communicate our position as the world's leading real estate organization with a decided focus on quality service to the South African audience." Comments Brewster: "The addition of RE/MAX to our golden circle of global brand clients is indicative of the best practice ethos which we benchmark in the firm. Brewster was appointed directly to the business which was not put out to pitch. The account was previously handled by Magna Carta. |
