Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced Chief Marketing Officer to lead our marketing and branding strategy. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a strong background in FMCG marketing and significant international experience, particularly within Africa. You should excel at team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and delivering growth through innovative marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development
    Develop and execute brand and marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
    Lead brand architecture planning and implementation.

  • Team Leadership
    Manage and mentor marketing, creative, and design teams.
    Oversee relationships with agencies, event partners, and regulatory bodies.

  • Marketing Execution
    Lead marketing initiatives to boost brand visibility and engagement.
    Create promotional programs to attract wholesalers, distributors, and retailers.

  • Budget & Performance
    Manage marketing budgets and trade spend effectively.
    Define metrics to evaluate performance and optimize ROI.

  • Market Intelligence
    Monitor competitors, market trends, and consumer insights to improve brand strategy.
    Support product launches and promotional planning.

  • Digital & E-Commerce
    Drive digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, social media, and content strategy.
    Lead e-commerce initiatives to increase online sales and enhance customer experience.

What You Need

  • 15+ years in senior FMCG marketing roles with a track record of strategic success.

  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and the competitive FMCG landscape.

  • Strong digital marketing expertise and ability to leverage technology for growth.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • MBA in Marketing or a related advanced degree preferred.
