Job Description

A Key Account Manager with solid B2B, CRM, Banking, Insurance, Loyalty and rewards programs and development experience is required for a leading customer engagement and incentive solutions business.

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the ongoing development and negotiation of Clients across South Africa & Surrounding countries.
  • Ideal candidate has experience in B2B Business Development / Sales and Account Management at a senior level
  • Management of various stakeholder relationships that are key to the success of our services
  • Responsible for the management of Banking, Insurance and rewards customers
  • Monitoring and reporting on all stakeholder, partner and service initiatives
  • New Business pipeline development and sales to assist in securing new Clients as per the business’ sales strategy

OVERALL ACCOUNTABILITY

Program Stakeholder and Partner Management

First point of contact for all Client initiatives:

  • Build and maintain relationships with Client and project teams
  • Develop partner strategies to drive change in customer behavior in accordance with services / Client objectives
  • Establish contact, negotiate, and contract with benefit providers and partners aligned with the approved rewards benefit strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners and benefit providers, managing any queries they may have, and:
  • Leverage these relationships to create opportunities that further the program’s success
  • Research potential new benefit providers and partners and manage their onboarding for additional program benefits
  • Negotiate with vendors and service providers as required

Marketing

  • Provide strategic input into marketing strategy based on an in-depth view of the respective market
  • Ensure alignment of marketing activity with client and partner objectives
  • Continuously keep abreast of industry trends and developments, using insights to propose new campaign ideas and/or modify planned activities as required

New Business

  • Prospect, generate, qualify, and process new partner and Client pipeline in accordance with business sales and product strategy
  • Assist in the design of marketing campaigns, presentations and proposals for all prospective partners and Clients and assist in the sales of these campaigns
  • Facilitate presentations to Client and partner teams and close sales
  • Develop Client and partner proposals and cost estimates
