Who we are: A small - to medium-sized dynamic TTL agency based in Johannesburg.

What we do: We dabble in all kinds of design and illustration work, but focus largely on motion graphics, animation and broadcast design.

What we are looking for: A talented UI/UX Designer to join our rapidly expanding team.

 

What you will do:

• Identify the various UX design needs for a brand’s digital assets
• Collaborate seamlessly with product managers, engineers, marketing team and other UI UX designers
• Collect and analyse user requirements by way of driving questionnaires, field studies, interviews and running analytics on the same
• Conduct research on the latest web/mobile usage analytics and designs and keep tabs on the latest trends
• Conduct observational research by studying how a sample user interacts with the product
• Leverage the insights gathered for making powerful and ROI-driven design decisions
• Conceptualise UI/UX design strategies that are better aligned with the user’s needs
• Understand the brief for new projects 
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, sitemaps, flow diagrams, process flows, wireframes, prototypes, etc.
• Build navigation components such as buttons, search fields, etc.
• Build user interface mockups as well as prototypes that demonstrate how the site will function 
• Integrate film, animation and motion into journeys
• Drive presentations on working drafts to internal team members and external stakeholders
• A/B testing UX UI elements such as banners, CTAs, images, page flow, links, page design and more

What you must have:

• A minimum of  two years' experience as a UX/UI Designer 
• A tertiary qualification in UX/UI Design or related 
• Proficiency with design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
